I had some of the best high school seniors to photograph last summer. I think what I enjoyed the most were how each of them wanted pictures to show their uniqueness. Their personality. What they’re about!

For Garrett, he really wanted a simple backdrop for pictures, yet showing his appreciation for where he has grown up. Our sunrise side part of the Michigan sometimes gets unnoticed for it’s amazing beauty and our gorgeous lakeshore along Lake Huron. For me, I take it for granted sometimes!

We picked Bay View Park for his senior pictures and one of my favorite places for photo sessions. It offers some really pretty backdrops and of course, pictures along the breakwall are a given!

Garrett really loves basketball so including this favorite hobby was a must-have for his session. It’s been such a part of his life growing up and still is a favorite pastime of his.

This young man here is such a smart, outgoing and kind person. I know he has a pretty special life ahead of him.
