Jennifer + Kevin | A cold & snowy engagement session

When we first scheduled their engagement session we were hoping for a snowy backdrop because at the time December wasn’t showing up for winter. And lack of snow there of. But just before their engagement session date we were blessed with a wintery blast of snowfall! However, we weren’t expecting the bitter cold temperatures it brought with it! I was in touch with Jennifer and Kevin to see how they felt about having their pictures taken in single digit temps. They were actually really amazing about it so we decided to go forward anyway and brave the cold!

At 10 degrees we went for it and this day couldn’t have been prettier. We had sunny, blue skies. Lot’s of snow on the trees. Gorgeous location. Adorable couple! And honestly we weren’t even that cold. Tip for photographing in cold weather. Hot hands and feet warmers! But don’t forget the back warmer too! They are AMAZING! These saved me!!!

Thank you Jennifer and Kevin for ditching your mittens and coats for some of these pictures and embracing the cold! I know you two kept warm by staying all cozy and sweet together too!

I’m looking forward to your September wedding! At least we know we will be much warmer then!
