Sativa | Class of 2018

I was in touch with Sativa and her mom during the weeks leading up to her senior portrait session about locations for her pictures. When her day arrived the weather caused us to reschedule for another date. She wanted pictures with flowers full of blooms and color. However her new session date was nearing the third week of September which meant finding spots with flowery backdrops was tough! Thankfully, and I do mean thank you almighty one, I stumbled upon a spot I drive by almost every day. I took a few pictures with my phone and texted them to Sativa to show her a location I felt would be perfect for her. She was thrilled and excited!

We had such a warm September day for her pictures, it felt like the middle of summer. But for this gorgeous girl we couldn’t have had a more beautiful day. Sativa is so sweet and a dream to photograph.

Her mom, sister and cutest dog ever, Mistro joined us for her photo session. I love when clients bring along their fur babies to be included in with pictures. They are part of the family so why not? Mistro was truly the center of attention!  I’m a bit of a sucker anyway for Dachshunds, owning one myself!

Sativa, thank you for letting me create your senior pictures for you. I enjoyed our time together greatly!!
