Good morning from Amy’s sister! I am taking over the blog today to share photos from a fun senior session I did late last summer with the stunning Marissa.

But first, a little about me!

Raised in Alpena, I moved to the St. Johns area (north of Lansing) in 1992 where I raised the greatest kids I know. In 2012, inspired by my sister, I started a small photography business with a focus on senior pictures. I loved getting to know the seniors and their families, hearing about their plans for the future and seeing the excitement in their eyes when we talked about which college they’d chosen and why. So after returning to the Alpena area last June, I was thrilled when Amy asked if I would like to work with her.

That’s when I met Marissa and her mom. We had such a great time exploring areas around Alpena capturing a variety of images! We finished up at Blair Street Pier where I happily waded into Lake Huron to capture the last few photos from her session. Marissa was radiant and an absolute joy to work with. Thank you for trusting me with your senior pictures, Marissa! I wish you the very best as you embark on this next chapter in your life.
